On October 29, KOLD broke the story of the incumbent mayor's plans for a new property tax and doubling the utility sales tax. Protesters outside his annual State of the Town speech had apparently already had enough of the incumbent, and they hadn't even yet heard of his plans to increase taxes. Watch the report here.
I am seeking endorsement only from the voters of Oro Valley, and not from any special interest groups. I have the knowledge and experience to lead. Only through a united effort, with a mayor that will work with the complete council and town staff, can we navigate the future successfully. I intend to provide that leadership.
